You’ve now been introduced to all 24 freshwater invertebrate groups used in Lakefly monitoring!
You’ve taken an important step in getting familiar with the key features, photos, and video footage of the creatures you’ll be spotting in the field. Don’t worry if you don’t remember them all straight away, that’s completely normal. The more you see them, the easier it gets.
During your in-person training day, we’ll go through these groups again and help build your confidence in identifying them using real samples.
