Assessment of Freshwater Algae Incidents – a new 2 day course designed to equip staff of environmental and other agencies, water companies and consultancies in the monitoring and assessment of algal ‘incidents’ in freshwaters. With Professor Martyn Kelly, Dr Bill Brierley and Sarah Pritchard at Nottingham University.

Macrophyte Identification Accredited Course (including examination) with Tim Jones, at the River Laboratory, Dorset.
AUGUST
18th & 19th August 2026
Sampling and Identifying Freshwater Invertebrates with John Davy-Bowker.
OCTOBER
8th - 9th October 2026
River Invertebrate Prediction and Classification System (RIVPACS/RICT) Training at the River Laboratory (Dorset) with John Davy-Bowker and John Murray-Bligh.
NOVEMBER
4th - 6th November 2026
Invertebrate Identification for Biotic Assessment Accreditation (including examination) with John Davy-Bowker.

River Restoration Modelling Course for upland and lowland river settings with George Heritage & Kieran Sheehan. Available to book as a single day courses, either upland river settings and/or lowland river settings.
