London Freshwater Group Meeting next week

The London Freshwater Group spring meeting will be on Friday 23rd March 2012 (13:00-17:00), hosted by the Linnean Society and with the theme of "UK Lakes: Science and Conservation". The March issue of Freshwater Matters has now been distributed to FBA members. As well as a round-up of what we've been up to at the FBA, this month's stories include concern that restored wetlands are no match for the originals, and how fish scales are adapted to withstand the teeth of piranhas.
