We will be organising a number of optional tours during the afternoon of  Wednesday 8th July.  Currently we are hoping to offer the following:

• Electric Mountain, Llanberis - after a short presentation there will be a guided tour into the Elidir mountain to learn about hydo-electricity generation.  Find out how the Dinorwig Power Station worked closely with CCW to modify the river system and minimise its effect on the aquatic life.
  
• Valley Wetlands, Anglesey - a series of lakes and wetlands managed by the RSPB.  The visit will include a guided tour of the wetlands by the RSPB warden, with a explanation of their development and ecology.
• Snowdonia rivers - a visit hosted by the CCW to explore river restoration work in selected Snowdonian rivers.
