How to Order

Postage

Prices are correct from 18 May 2007, but may be changed without notice. FBA Members are eligible for a 25% discount on every copy of each publication ordered, except where stated otherwise (e.g. posters): please complete the appropriate box on the order form. Postage is charged at the following rates:

Although books are normally dispatched within a week of receiving your order, sometimes this takes longer, so please allow 28 days for delivery. UK orders are dispatched by second class/parcel post; overseas orders by surface mail. Dispatch by Air Mail can be arranged at extra cost (for several items this can be expensive).

Payment

Remittances should be by:

  • Cheque drawn on a UK bank (£ Sterling only, made payable to "The Freshwater Biological Association"); OR
  • Visa/Mastercard/Eurocard.
For customers wishing instead to pay by bank transfer, details can be obtained by contacting the FBA at info@fba.org.uk. If the bank transfer is from a bank outside the UK, an additional amount of £6.00 per order is payable, to cover bank charges.

For further information on any particular publication, please contact the FBA. Scientific and Occasional Publications (SPs and OPs) are A5 printed booklets, perfect bound or stapled between soft covers. Special Publications (SPECs) are various formats, up to A4 in size. Freshwater Forum is A5 in size and is stapled or perfect bound between soft covers.

The FBA regrets that it is unable to send books "On Approval" or on a "Return if No Sale" basis.
